WIP Warpwolf Strikes Again!

Here we go again. Inching towards completion. Another hour's work. Sculpted in some upper thigh muscles and smoothed out his stomach a bit more. I think he's ready for brown stuff fur treatments and then to call it a done deal (or rather on to paint).

To the side here is one view, try these others on for size.

Other than that, I'm excited to finally be nearing completion on this long task. While it would have been maybe a long weekend's worth of work so far, I feel that taking this much time has really helped me think through some of the musculature and details in such a way that I'm sure to make it look as good as possible (given my relative skill level and knowledge of anatomy, etc.).

Aside from this, I've been assembling some Trolls and other odds and ends, playing in my local CTA league and generally being too busy for anything else. Even this much is stealing from what I'm "supposed" to be doing. But something has to keep me sane!

If anyone ends up reading this, any thoughts on a paint scheme for this bad boy?

Time invested to date: ~14 hours

Warpwolf WIP

Some may have seen it already.

I've been working on this mod of a WarpWolf for upwards of 13 hours now. These are the latest pix, but are dated. I've all but finished the green stuffing and getting ready to do some brown stuff fur and patch jobs.

I'm excited about it overall - eventually it'll get done and I'll post some new pix!

Overall, the mods include:
-cut, repositioned, and rebuilt right arm
-cut and repositioned left leg
-repositioned left arm
-thickening of calves/thighs on both legs
-customized cork base to raise overall stance

Time invested: ~13 hours

Still contemplating color schemes. Nothing really calls out to me just yet.

Contemplation

Well, I've tried and tried to find someway to stay inspired for my painting and modeling. Somehow, I just keep faltering. Perhaps this blog will help. Not sure, but here goes.
